BioI work as an English professor at a university in South Africa. My research interests include medieval literature, Arthurian texts, science fiction, cyberpunk and female bildungsromans.
I am also an aspirant writer who has just started sending out her work to publishers and who is praying for a nice editor to read it. I mainly write sf and fantasy.
In my spare time, I play tennis, do pilates, and practise shukokai karate. I've taken part in a number of karate championships, and hope to make the national team in a few years time. I also am a keen gamer, a comic-book fan, and an all-around geek!
